About the Job
Auto Pedigree, a leading supplier of quality, used low-kilometre vehicles with more than 70 branches across South Africa, is inviting applications from suitably qualified and experienced candidates for the position of Driver/Cleaner at its Acornhoek branch in Mpumalanga.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing reliable transport services, maintaining vehicle cleanliness and ensuring that vehicles, goods and documentation are delivered and collected safely and efficiently. The role requires an honest, trustworthy and responsible individual who can work independently while supporting the branch’s daily operations.
Candidates must have relevant driving experience, good communication skills and a strong commitment to customer service.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Cleaning vehicle interiors and exteriors according to company standards.
- Inspecting vehicles and reporting quality issues, including expired vehicle licences and other non-compliance concerns.
- Delivering vehicles to customers safely and following established company procedures.
- Delivering and collecting documents from banks, suppliers and clients.
- Transporting customers and ensuring they reach their required destinations safely.
- Maintaining the cleanliness and neatness of the branch premises.
- Following company policies, safety procedures and applicable legislation.
- Protecting company vehicles, equipment, customer property and business assets.
- Conducting duties honestly and professionally while maintaining confidentiality where necessary.
- Performing additional duties as requested by management.
Minimum Requirements
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Grade 12 (Matric).
- At least 2 years of relevant driving experience.
- A valid, unendorsed Code 08 driver’s licence.
- Own transport.
- Basic computer literacy.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English and be fully bilingual.
- Ability to read and understand maps and directions.
