About the Programme
BMW Group South Africa is inviting applications from young, unemployed South Africans for its YES4Youth Student Programme 2027.
This 12-month programme offers young people an opportunity to gain valuable workplace experience, develop professional skills and learn within an internationally recognised automotive company.
Successful candidates will gain hands-on experience in a professional corporate or manufacturing environment while developing skills that can improve their future employment opportunities.
Who Can Apply?
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Be between 18 and 34 years old.
- Be a South African citizen.
- Have completed a relevant qualification in one of the advertised fields.
- Be currently unemployed.
- Have never participated in a YES4Youth programme before.
- Be willing to learn and gain workplace experience.
Fields of Study Required
BMW is looking for candidates with qualifications in the following fields:
- Finance, Accounting and Economics.
- Business Administration and Management.
- Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial and Mechatronics Engineering.
- Motor Mechanic and Transportation Electrician.
- Supply Chain, Logistics and Operations Management.
- Information Technology and Computer Science.
- Data Science, Data Analytics and Statistics.
- Human Resources and Industrial Psychology.
- Marketing, Digital Marketing and Communications.
- Product Management, UX/UI and Graphic Design.
- Risk Management, Insurance and Law.
- Occupational Health and Safety.
Applicants with relevant degrees, National Diplomas, Diplomas or Certificates may apply.
Programme Locations
Successful applicants may be placed at one of these BMW locations:
- National Sales Company (NSC) – Midrand.
- BMW Financial Services – Midrand.
- Plant Rosslyn – Pretoria.
- BMW IT Hub – Menlyn.
