Job Overview
Isanti Pallets is looking for an experienced General Worker to assist truck drivers with loading and offloading trucks, cleaning the premises and maintaining a safe, clean working environment.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 / Matric / NQF Level 4.
- Must be medically fit.
- Must be reliable and self-motivated.
- Must have a clean criminal record.
- Must have reliable transport to and from work.
- Willingness to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.
- Ability to lift, push, pull, bend and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to handle heavy equipment and machinery used for cleaning.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, storage and disposal methods.
- Good communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must follow safety procedures and instructions from the supervisor.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist truck drivers with loading and offloading deliveries.
- Keep outside walkways clear and free from debris.
- Clean and maintain the entire premises.
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment.
- Report repairs and maintenance requirements to building management.
- Perform additional duties as required.
