Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Cleaning hospital wards, offices, and public areas.
  • Emptying dustbins and disposing of waste correctly.
  • Dusting and polishing furniture.
  • Cleaning windows and walls.
  • Washing floors and vacuuming carpets.
  • Deep cleaning hospital toilets.
  • Refilling toilet paper and hand soap dispensers.
  • Cleaning kitchen areas and kitchen utensils.
  • Assisting with tea and coffee during meetings and forums.
  • Reporting maintenance issues such as broken lights or faulty locks.
  • Warning staff about slippery floors and other hazards.
  • Following infection prevention and control procedures.
  • Using cleaning equipment and materials safely.
  • Ensuring proper use of hospital resources.
  • Complying with Human Resource and workplace policies.
