VKB Group is looking for a reliable and experienced Code 14 Driver to join its Distribution Centre in Bethlehem, Free State.

The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting and delivering goods safely and on time while ensuring excellent customer service, accurate stock control, and compliance with company safety standards. This position is ideal for professional drivers who have a strong work ethic, excellent driving skills, and a commitment to road safety.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will:

  • Transport and deliver goods safely and on schedule.
  • Ensure deliveries are completed accurately and efficiently.
  • Load and offload stock while maintaining 100% stock accuracy.
  • Monitor stock during transportation.
  • Minimise risks to the company during deliveries.
  • Report all incidents and accidents to management immediately.
  • Complete delivery documentation accurately.
  • Provide excellent customer service during deliveries.
  • Perform daily vehicle inspections.
  • Ensure compliance with road traffic regulations.
  • Keep the vehicle clean and roadworthy.
  • Perform general administrative duties related to deliveries.
  • Follow company safety policies and procedures.
  • Assist with additional duties assigned by management.

Minimum Requirements

Applicants must have:

  • Grade 12 (Matric) or NQF Level 4.
  • A valid Code 14 driver’s licence.
  • A valid Professional Driving Permit (PDP).
  • At least 3 years’ experience in a similar driving role.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Ability to work accurately and responsibly.
