About the Loader Position
Premier Fort Jackson Bakery is looking for a Loader who will assist with loading and offloading bread while ensuring products are handled safely and according to company procedures.
The successful candidate will report directly to the Dispatch Supervisor and play an important role in ensuring that deliveries are prepared accurately and on time.
This is a six-day work position that requires flexibility to work weekends, public holidays, and rotating shifts.
Key Responsibilities
As a Loader, your duties will include:
- Loading and offloading bread according to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Following the correct loading and offloading sequence.
- Counting and balancing bread trays on delivery trucks.
- Ensuring only quality bread is loaded for distribution.
- Maintaining correct stock rotation using the First-In, First-Out (FIFO) principle.
- Reporting loading and offloading issues to the Offloads Supervisor.
- Participating in daily operational meetings (Invocoms).
- Following all company policies and safety procedures.
- Assisting with general dispatch activities when required.
Minimum Requirements
Applicants must have:
- Grade 12 (Matric) with good numerical skills.
- At least three months’ experience in a similar role within the FMCG industry.
