About the Company
Icebolethu Group is an authorised financial services provider and one of South Africa’s leading funeral assurance groups. The company is looking for 50 energetic, motivated and customer-focused Field Agents to join its team in the Western Cape.
Successful candidates will be responsible for attracting new clients, selling funeral assurance policies and maintaining positive relationships with existing customers.
Minimum Requirements
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Matric / Grade 12 certificate.
- 1–2 years’ experience in sales, customer service or field operations.
- Computer literacy, including MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong negotiation and customer service abilities.
- Ability to work independently and achieve sales targets.
- Good administrative and organisational skills.
- Ability to speak at least three official languages spoken in the relevant province.
- Clear criminal and credit records.
Advantageous qualifications and experience:
- Relevant tertiary qualification.
- RE1 or RE5 certification.
- Experience in funeral assurance, insurance or financial services.
- Experience in client engagement, customer retention and complaint handling.
Key Responsibilities
Successful candidates will be expected to:
- Promote and sell funeral assurance policies to new and existing clients.
- Generate new business through cold calling and client engagement.
- Provide excellent customer service and resolve client queries.
- Maintain customer relationships and implement client retention strategies.
- Contact existing clients regarding policy renewals and retention.
- Maintain accurate client records and complete administrative tasks.
- Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Follow applicable financial services regulations and compliance requirements.
