VKB Group is looking for a General Worker to join GWK Grain at the Prieska facility in the Northern Cape. This is a permanent position and the role is suitable for an entry-level candidate who is hardworking, reliable and physically fit.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?
The General Worker will provide important operational support at the facility and assist with product handling, housekeeping, customer service and general maintenance activities.
Duties include:
Assisting with loading and bagging of products
Handling and storing products safely and efficiently
Supporting daily operational activities at the facility
Performing cleaning and general housekeeping duties
Ensuring the work environment remains clean, safe and organised
Providing good service to customers
Completing general and ad hoc tasks when required
Supporting the team to ensure tasks are completed accurately and on time Operating and driving a tractor when required and authorised to do so
Maintaining professional conduct as a GWK representative
WHO CAN APPLY?
The minimum qualification is:
Grade 12 or NQF Level 4
Previous experience is not necessarily extensive — the advert indicates 0–2 years’ experience in a similar role.
The ideal candidate should be:

Able to communicate well
Trustworthy and responsible
Able to work under pressure
Customer-focused
Willing to perform different general duties
