Minimum Requirements
Applicants must have:
- Grade 10, ABET Level 4, N1, or an equivalent qualification.
- Basic numeracy skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a team.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Willingness to rotate between hospital departments.
- Willingness to work shifts, weekends, public holidays, and night duty.
- Physical fitness to perform manual cleaning duties.
- Willingness to wear protective clothing as required.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidates will be expected to:
- Mop and clean floors.
- Clean doors, windows, toilets, beds, steps, and hospital equipment.
- Strip and polish floors using cleaning machines.
- Clean refrigerators and other designated equipment.
- Dust furniture and window sills.
- Use cleaning chemicals correctly and safely.
- Operate cleaning equipment such as polishing machines.
- Maintain cleanliness in accordance with hospital hygiene standards.
- Perform additional cleaning duties as instructed by supervisors.
