The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe, efficient, and timely delivery of products from the Durban Wheat Mill. The role requires ensuring that deliveries are completed according to company standards while maintaining vehicle safety, accurate documentation, and excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver products safely and on time to customers.
- Ensure trucks are clean, neat, and well-maintained.
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections before each trip.
- Complete and submit daily vehicle checklists.
- Report vehicle defects immediately to the Fleet Controller or Supervisor.
- Report all incidents and accidents promptly.
- Ensure Proof of Delivery (POD) documents are signed, stamped, and returned.
- Offload flour safely at customer premises.
- Monitor and achieve company fuel consumption targets.
- Maintain accurate trip sheets, fuel slips, toll slips, and delivery documentation.
- Comply with road safety regulations and company policies.
- Provide professional customer service during deliveries.

Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 / Matric.
- Valid Code 14 Driver’s Licence.
- Valid Professional Driving Permit (PDP).
- Drivers must ensure their PDP is renewed annually.
- 2–3 years’ experience in a similar heavy vehicle driving role.
