About the Opportunity
Pedros is looking for friendly, professional and customer-focused Call Centre Agents to join its team in Newlands East, KwaZulu-Natal.
The successful candidates will be responsible for assisting customers with enquiries, taking food orders over the phone, providing menu information and ensuring that orders are accurately captured and sent to the correct restaurant branch.
This opportunity is suitable for candidates who enjoy interacting with people, have good communication skills and can deliver excellent customer service.
Minimum Requirements
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Grade 12 / Matric certificate.
- Computer literacy.
- Good telephone etiquette and communication skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Experience handling inbound calls.
- Previous experience in a call centre or similar customer service role.
Duties and Responsibilities
Successful candidates will be responsible for:
- Answering incoming customer calls professionally and assisting with enquiries.
- Providing accurate information about the restaurant’s menu, products, services and policies.
- Taking delivery and collection orders over the phone.
- Recording customer orders accurately, including special instructions.
- Communicating orders to the relevant restaurant branches.
- Assisting customers with changes to existing orders and special requests.
- Recommending menu items and providing helpful suggestions.
- Upselling and cross-selling additional food items, beverages and services.
- Ensuring customers receive friendly and efficient service.
- Resolving customer concerns and escalating issues when necessary.
- Maintaining accurate order information and following company procedures.
- Helping ensure a smooth customer experience from the initial call to order collection or delivery.
