Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be expected to:
- Assist with daily operational activities and support team members.
- Participate in training sessions and workshops to develop technical knowledge and practical skills.
- Assist with assigned projects and complete tasks accurately and efficiently.
- Follow workplace health and safety requirements.
- Work with colleagues to identify problems and find suitable solutions.
- Record learning activities and progress for feedback and assessment.
- Take advantage of learning opportunities to improve industry knowledge.
- Provide general administrative support when required.
- Demonstrate a willingness to learn, accept feedback and improve performance.
Minimum Requirements
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- A Matric certificate or an equivalent qualification.
- A valid driver’s licence.
- A genuine interest in the motor and automotive industry.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Effective time management and organisational abilities.
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to different challenges.
- Ability to work with experienced team members and follow instructions.
Preferred Qualifications
Candidates who meet the following criteria may have an advantage:
- Matric with at least 50% in one or more of the following subjects or qualifications:
- Pure Mathematics
- Physical Science
- Technical Mathematics
- Technical Science
- Engineering Studies
- N1–N6 courses
- Relevant technical coursework or certifications.
- Basic knowledge of workplace safety practices.
- Previous exposure to a related field through internships, part-time employment or volunteering.
- A positive attitude and commitment to personal and professional development.
