What the learnership offers
Senwes Grainlink will place you in one of its grain silos across South Africa. Over a year you will work on real grain operations and study towards a Junior Grain Grader qualification.
Who can apply
You must meet all of the following criteria:
- Be 18‑25 years old.
- Hold a Grade 12 / Matric certificate.
- Have a valid driver’s licence.
- Be interested in agriculture or technical work.
- Be ready to work on a silo site and learn grain handling.
What you will gain
The programme blends practical work with formal training. You will:
- Get hands‑on experience in silo operations, grain handling and administration.
- Work with maize, sunflower, soy and other grain commodities.
- Complete accredited training in grain grading.
- Develop computer, communication and workplace skills.
- Leave with a recognised qualification that supports a career as a Junior Grain Grader or in other agricultural roles.
