Tiger Brands is inviting applications for the position of General Worker at its Hennenman operation.

As a General Worker, you will assist with daily operational activities, support production teams, and help ensure that the workplace operates efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and contribute to achieving daily production targets while following company procedures and safety regulations.


Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be expected to:

  • Assist with daily production and operational activities.
  • Support the production team with general duties.
  • Load, move, and handle materials safely.
  • Maintain a clean and organised work environment.
  • Follow all company policies and standard operating procedures.
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.
  • Assist with housekeeping duties within the production area.
  • Report equipment faults or safety concerns to supervisors.
  • Ensure products and materials are handled correctly.
  • Work effectively as part of a team.
  • Perform additional duties assigned by supervisors or management.
  • Contribute to achieving daily production goals.

Minimum Requirements

Applicants should have:

  • Grade 12 (Matric) or an equivalent qualification (where applicable).
  • Ability to perform physical work.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a team.
  • Willingness to follow instructions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good attendance and punctuality.
