An exciting opportunity is available for School Leavers with Matric (Grade 12) who are looking to gain workplace experience in the warehouse, logistics and manufacturing environment.

The General Worker position is a temporary opportunity and is suitable for candidates who have completed Grade 12 and are ready to enter the workplace.

No previous work experience is required, making this a suitable opportunity for school leavers looking for their first job.

Successful applicants will assist with general warehouse and operational duties, including loading and unloading stock, packing and sorting products, assisting with receiving and dispatching goods, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

The position offers a rate of:

R50.48 per hour

This is a temporary position, and applicants should be available to work according to operational requirements.


Applicants must have:

  • Grade 12 / Matric Certificate.
  • No previous work experience is required.

The successful candidates may be responsible for:

Loading & Unloading

  • Loading stock and products.
  • Unloading incoming goods.
  • Assisting with the movement of materials within the warehouse.
  • Handling stock safely and responsibly.
  • Assisting with general warehouse activities.
  • Packing products and stock.
  • Sorting items according to instructions.
  • Organising products within designated areas.
  • Assisting with stock movement.
  • Ensuring products are handled carefully.

Successful candidates may also assist with:

  • Receiving incoming goods.
  • Preparing products for dispatch.
  • Assisting with dispatch activities.
  • Moving stock to the correct locations.
  • Following instructions regarding stock handling and distribution.

Maintaining a clean and organised workplace will be an important part of the role.

Duties may include:

  • Cleaning the warehouse and work areas.
  • Keeping stock and equipment organised.
  • Removing waste appropriately.
  • Ensuring work areas remain safe and accessible.
  • Following workplace housekeeping standards.

The successful candidate must follow all applicable workplace health and safety procedures.

This includes:

  • Following safety instructions.
  • Using equipment correctly.
  • Wearing required protective equipment where applicable.
  • Reporting unsafe conditions.
  • Handling stock safely.
  • Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

Applicants must be willing to work according to operational requirements, including:

  • Overtime.

  • Warehouse or industrial shifts where required.
