Duties and Responsibilities

1. Loading, Unloading and Moving Materials
- Load and unload materials from various vehicles.
- Move pallet-packed materials around the site or storage facility.
- Check that loads are secure before moving them.
- Transport materials and items carefully and responsibly.
2. Equipment Checks and Maintenance
- Perform equipment checks.
- Carry out basic maintenance.
- Ensure that the vehicle is in a safe and legally compliant working condition.
- Follow the general machinery regulations and relevant operating procedures.
3. Health, Safety and Compliance
- Adhere to health and safety regulations.
- Report hazards and dangers that may arise.
- Follow all company rules and regulations.
- Comply with legal instructions from a supervisor, foreman, manager or other senior authority.
- Follow the forklift training, licence testing and practical operating requirements specified for the role.
4. Instructions, Records and Work Performance
