Main Purpose of the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering glass products safely and efficiently to customers while maintaining excellent service standards. The role also includes ensuring accurate completion of delivery documentation, vehicle inspections, and assisting with loading and offloading of materials.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver glass products safely and on time.
- Understand delivery routes and road networks.
- Keep the company vehicle clean and well-maintained.
- Complete daily trip sheets accurately.
- Perform vehicle inspections and report faults immediately.
- Complete loading quality check sheets.
- Build positive relationships with customers and colleagues.
- Follow company procedures and standard operating processes.
- Comply with all road safety, environmental, and housekeeping standards.
- Assist with loading and offloading glass products safely.
- Ensure all paperwork is completed correctly.
- Work overtime, weekends, and shifts when required.
- Perform any additional duties assigned by the Factory Services Manager.
Minimum Requirements
Qualifications
- Grade 12 (Matric).
- Valid Code 10 or higher Driver’s Licence.
- Valid PrDP (Professional Driving Permit).
Experience
- Experience handling and transporting dangerous goods.
- Experience handling various types of glass products.
- Knowledge of reading production orders and drawings.
- Glass handling and quality control experience.
- At least 2 years of driving experience will be an added advantage.
Skills Required

- Strong analytical and numerical abilities.
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to perform under pressure.
- High levels of honesty, responsibility, and reliability.
