Minimum Requirements
Applicants must have:
- Grade 12 / Senior Certificate
- 0 to 6 months experience
Knowledge Requirements
Candidates should have knowledge of:
- Unemployment Insurance Act
- Unemployment Insurance Contributions Act
- Public Service Act
- Public Service Regulations
- Batho Pele Principles
- Departmental policies and procedures
- Customer care

Duties and Responsibilities
Successful candidates will:
- Process unemployment insurance claims
- Register employers and verify employee declarations
- Execute approved payments within set timeframes
- Attend to enquiries regarding processed claims
- Perform administrative duties within the section
- Operate systems according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
