Duties and Responsibilities

The operator will be required to move steel coils using a 15-ton crane. This responsibility involves assisting with the lifting and relocation of coils as part of the daily operational requirements.
3. Operating Mobile Hoist or Forklift Equipment
The position involves operating power-driven lifting equipment, including a mobile hoist or forklift truck, for the movement, loading, unloading and stacking of goods or containers. The operator must have the required forklift licence to perform the relevant duties.
4. General Housekeeping
The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out housekeeping duties and maintaining general cleanliness in the working area. These duties form part of the position’s general operational responsibilities.
5. Providing General Operational Assistance
The operator must be willing to assist with additional duties whenever required by the supervisor or team leader. This includes supporting the team with work-related tasks as directed.
