Pedros is looking for a Cashier to join the team at its exciting new Wackys store opening in Durban.

The Cashier will be responsible for providing efficient, accurate and friendly customer service while handling customer transactions and managing front-counter operations.
The successful candidate will ensure that orders and payments are processed correctly while maintaining a professional and welcoming environment for customers.
Your duties will include:
• Processing customer orders and payments accurately.
• Operating the POS system and assisting with basic troubleshooting when required.
• Handling cash, card and digital payments responsibly and accurately.
• Issuing receipts to customers.
• Processing refunds or exchanges according to company procedures.
• Promoting available specials and encouraging customers to consider additional products where appropriate.
• Managing customer queues efficiently to maintain smooth service.
• Responding to basic customer queries and complaints in a polite and professional manner.
• Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the front-counter area.
• Balancing cash at the end of the shift.
• Completing and submitting required end-of-shift reports.
• Taking responsibility for company cash and assets.
• Following procedures designed to prevent losses.
• Supporting the restaurant team with front-counter duties when required.
