The Department is recruiting 7 Client Service Officers (Assessors) who will support UIF (Unemployment Insurance Fund) services across multiple satellite offices.

All posts are based at Kariega Labour Centre, but successful candidates will be stationed at the following satellite offices:
- Joubertina
- Louterwater
- Misgund
- Hankey
- Patensie
- Jeffreys Bay
- Humansdorp
Minimum Requirements
To qualify, applicants must have:
- Grade 12 / Senior Certificate
- No experience required
Knowledge Required
Candidates should have basic knowledge of:
- Unemployment Insurance Act
- UIF Contributions Act
- Public Financial Management Act (PFMA)
- POPIA (Protection of Personal Information Act)
- UIF policies and procedures
- Batho Pele Principles
Skills and Competencies
Applicants should demonstrate:
- Good communication skills (verbal and written)
- Computer literacy
- Interpersonal skills
- Telephone etiquette
- Customer service skills
- Time management
- Conflict management
- Analytical thinking
- Ability to interpret UIF legislation
Key Duties
Successful candidates will be responsible for:
- Providing screening services to clients
- Processing UIF benefit applications
- Registering payment continuation forms
- Performing administrative duties
- Supporting UIF service delivery at Labour Centres
