About the Position
The successful candidates will be responsible for capturing and maintaining clinical data collected by mobile and outreach healthcare teams. Minimum Requirements
Applicants must have:
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- One or more years of related experience or training in HIV, AIDS, and STI programmes, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Certificate in Database Management
- Experience capturing, maintaining, and updating databases
- Experience with data analysis and data management processes
- At least three years’ experience working with HIV, AIDS, and STI programme data
- TIER.Net and information management experience
- Proficiency in English and a local language
- Valid South African driver’s licence
Key Responsibilities
Successful applicants will be responsible for:
- Filing PrEP client folders accurately at the regional office
- Retrieving client folders according to schedules provided by clinical staff
- Updating client information and capturing newly initiated clients on the CommCare database
- Capturing PrEP data on the TIER.Net system where required
- Assisting with daily, weekly, and monthly reports
- Verifying captured information and updating monitoring trackers
- Supporting Routine Data Quality Assessments (RDQAs)
- Assisting with data verification for HIV Testing Services (HTS) and PrEP programmes
- Updating National Health Laboratory Service (NHLS) results on client databases
- Capturing PPPREV intervention data
- Ensuring intervention registers and POPIA consent forms are completed correctly
- Attending workshops, meetings, training sessions, and Quality Improvement meetings
- Ensuring compliance with POPIA legislation and TB HIV Care Standard Operating Procedures
