Job Purpose

Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be expected to:
- Wash and dry hospital laundry according to required standards.
- Complete all laundry tasks within the required timeframes.
- Collect dirty laundry from hospital wards.
- Deliver clean laundry to hospital wards promptly.
- Count clean linen accurately.
- Verify laundry quantities against relevant documentation.
- Complete paperwork for outsourced laundry services.
- Hand over dirty linen and receive clean linen professionally.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the laundry department.
- Follow hospital procedures and quality standards at all times.
Minimum Requirements
Applicants should meet the following requirements:
- Grade 12 (Matric).
- Previous laundry experience is advantageous.
- Knowledge of commercial laundry equipment is advantageous.
- Willingness to work shifts, including night shifts.
- Must be available to work weekends.
