Job Overview

Dis-Chem Pharmacies is looking for a passionate, customer-focused, and sales-driven Cosmetic Consultant to join its Toti Centre store in Amanzimtoti. Key Responsibilities

As a Cosmetic Consultant, your responsibilities will include:

  • Deliver outstanding customer service at all times.
  • Promote and sell cosmetic, skincare, fragrance, and beauty products.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and makeovers.
  • Participate in spray promotions and in-store beauty events.
  • Assist customers in choosing products suited to their needs.
  • Build strong customer relationships and encourage repeat business.
  • Achieve department, brand, and vendor sales targets.
  • Maintain attractive cosmetic displays and merchandising standards.
  • Monitor stock levels and report damaged, expired, or low stock.
  • Ensure proper stock rotation according to company procedures.
  • Stay informed about new beauty products, brands, and industry trends.
  • Manage salon appointments where required.
  • Escalate unresolved customer complaints to management.
  • Follow Dis-Chem policies, procedures, and health and safety regulations.
  • Support promotional campaigns and brand activations.

Minimum Requirements

Applicants should have:

  • Grade 12 (Matric).
  • Previous retail experience as a Sales Consultant.
  • Computer literacy.
  • Ability and willingness to work retail hours.

Advantageous Requirements

The following will be beneficial:

  • Experience in cosmetics, beauty products, or fragrances.
  • Previous promotional or sales training.
  • Product knowledge within the beauty industry.
  • Bilingual communication skills.
  • Stock management experience.
