Purpose of the Role

The primary purpose of the Waitron position is to prepare and deliver exceptional food and beverage service while ensuring that all company standard operating procedures (SOPs) are consistently followed.

Minimum Requirements

Applicants should meet the following minimum requirements:

• Grade 12 is preferred, or Grade 10 with relevant experience.
• Grade 12 qualification is advantageous.
• Minimum of 2 years’ previous experience as a waiter or waitron.

Key Responsibilities

Preparing the Service Area

Before service begins, the successful candidate will:

• Prepare mise-en-place.
• Set tables according to company standards.
• Prepare dining areas for guests.
• Set up and break down function venues where required.
• Inspect workstations for cleanliness.
• Check that equipment is functioning properly.
• Identify maintenance or operational issues.

Food and Beverage Service

The Waitron will be responsible for providing professional table service by:
