KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The successful candidate will be expected to perform the following duties:
- Perform general cleaning duties and maintain high hygiene standards throughout the office.
- Sweep, vacuum and mop office floors to ensure that all areas remain clean.
- Dust office furniture, decorations and flowers.
- Empty and clean waste bins regularly.
- Clean and maintain toilets, wash basins, sinks and other bathroom facilities.
- Check and refill toilet paper, hand soap and other necessary bathroom supplies.
- Prepare and serve tea and coffee when required.
- Wash dishes, cups and kitchen utensils.
- Wash and maintain dishcloths to ensure proper hygiene.
- Refill tea and coffee dispensers.
- Ensure that the water cooler is always supplied with water.
- Clean office windows and maintain a neat appearance.
- Ensure that all assigned cleaning tasks are completed properly and on time.
- Maintain a clean, hygienic and comfortable working environment for staff and visitors.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Applicants interested in this position must meet the following requirements:
- Minimum Grade 10 qualification.
- Ability to communicate in English will be an added advantage.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work well with other employees.
- Must be hardworking, reliable and responsible.
- Must be able to maintain cleanliness and follow workplace hygiene standards.
EXPERIENCE
- Previous cleaning experience will be a definite advantage.
- Applicants who have experience in office cleaning, housekeeping or general cleaning duties may have an added advantage.
