WHAT WILL YOU GET
This learnership leads to a nationally recognised FETC: Long Term Insurance NQF Level 4 qualification.
The programme combines structured learning with practical workplace experience, giving successful learners an opportunity to gain valuable exposure to the Financial Services industry.
AREAS OF WORK MAY INCLUDE:
Learners may gain experience in areas such as:
Call Centre
Medical Aid client servicing
Claims
New business
Health benefits administration
Customer service
This is a great opportunity for young people who are interested in customer service, financial services, insurance and healthcare administration.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
You must have Grade 12 / Matric.
The required school subjects and minimum marks include:
Mathematics: Level 4 – 50% minimum
English: Level 4 – 50% minimum
Mathematical Literacy: Level 5 – 60% minimum
Second Language: Level 4 – 50% minimum
Applicants with an incomplete tertiary qualification may also apply and this will be considered an advantage.
WHO CAN APPLY?
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
Be between 18 and 25 years old.
Have completed Grade 12 / Matric.
Not currently be engaged in post-Matric studies.
Not currently be formally employed.
Must not have completed a previous learnership.
Have effective written and verbal English communication skills.
Have basic computer skills.
Knowledge of MS Excel and MS Outlook is required.

IMPORTANT REQUIREMENTS!
If you are currently studying after Matric or working in formal employment, you may not qualify for this learnership.
You must also not have completed a previous learnership.
