Job Overview
Lovisa is looking for energetic and fashion-focused Part-Time Festive Team Members to join its retail store at The Pavilion Shopping Centre in Westville, Durban for the busy festive season.
This is a fixed-term opportunity designed for candidates who enjoy fashion, working with people, and providing excellent customer experiences in a fast-paced retail environment. The successful Team Member will help customers find products they love, contribute to sales, maintain the store, replenish stock, operate the till, and support the overall day-to-day running of the store.
An important requirement for this festive position is full availability throughout November, December, and early January. Applicants must be prepared to work during key retail trading periods, including Black Friday, Day of Reconciliation, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Day of Goodwill (26 December), New Year’s Eve, and New Year’s Day.
Interviews are scheduled to take place from mid-October over several weeks. The first working day is Monday, 16 November 2026, and the festive contract will continue until Sunday, 3 January 2027.
Lovisa provides training to help Team Members develop their retail and customer-service skills, including piercing training. The role also offers exposure to a fashion-focused retail environment, team support, product discounts, and opportunities to build customer and sales experience.
Key Responsibilities
As a Festive Team Member, your responsibilities will include:
- Providing friendly and engaging customer service.
- Helping customers select products and guiding them according to their needs.

- Staying informed about current fashion and jewellery trends.
- Conducting Lovisa’s piercing service after receiving the relevant training.
- Replenishing sold stock while working on the shop floor.

- Completing opening and closing store cleaning duties.
- Building positive relationships with customers and colleagues.
- Supporting the team during busy trading periods.
