Job Purpose
The purpose of this role is to prepare high-quality chicken products according to Pedros’ standards while maintaining excellent food safety, hygiene, and operational procedures to ensure customers receive fresh, delicious meals every time.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be expected to:
- Prepare, clean, cut, and portion chicken.
- Marinate, season, and bread chicken according to company recipes.
- Ensure food quality and freshness before preparation.
- Maintain high food safety and hygiene standards.
- Store raw chicken correctly at the required temperatures.
- Rotate stock using the FIFO (First In, First Out) system.
- Keep the preparation area, equipment, and utensils clean and sanitised.
- Assist cooks and other kitchen team members during busy periods.
- Follow company policies and health and safety procedures.
- Report stock shortages, equipment faults, or food safety concerns to management.
