WHO CAN APPLY?
This opportunity is for young South Africans who are unemployed and looking to gain practical experience in the workplace.
To qualify, you must:
Have a completed Matric certificate
Have achieved 50% or above in English and Mathematics
Be a South African citizen
Be 35 years old or younger
Be currently unemployed
Have not previously completed a YES Programme

WHAT IS THE PROGRAMME ABOUT?
The YES Programme will give successful candidates an opportunity to gain practical workplace experience in the freight forwarding and supply chain environment.
The programme will commence in 2027 and will be based at the Grindrod House Branch in Durban.
One of the biggest advantages of this opportunity is that on-the-job training will be provided, meaning you will have an opportunity to learn while gaining valuable experience in a professional working environment.
This experience can help you build your CV, develop workplace skills and gain exposure to the logistics industry.

Although this is an entry-level opportunity, it will be advantageous if you have:
Good customer service skills
Good problem-solving and decision-making skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Good communication and teamwork skills
Ability to adapt to a changing work environment
You should be willing to learn, work well with others and take responsibility for your duties.
