Forklift Operator x6 ALPLA RECYCLING SA (PTY) LTD
What you will enjoy doing
- Check the condition of the forklift truck at the beginning and end of the shift and complete safety checklist.
- Report any defects or damages to the Shift supervisor.
- Inspect the bales and move them from the bale storage area to the infeed. Report immediately to the shift supervisor any suspicions on quality issues with raw material.
- Remove all full bins in production and replace them with empty bins.
- Move big bags from big bag stations to the required areas as instructed.
- Follow warehouse and shipping procedures • Record and store finished goods in the warehouse
- Ensure all aspects of your working environment are kept neat and tidy and that 5S standards are followed
- Follow Quality, Food Safety, Environmental and Health and Safety Management company procedures
- Additional tasks as assigned by the shift supervisor or Warehouse Manager.
What makes you great
- Minimum of 3 years experience preferably working in a manufacturing environment driving a forklift or clamp truck.
- Matric
- Must have a valid forklift licence.
- Must be able to speak, read and write in English.
- Ensure ongoing awareness of Quality, Food Safety, Environmental and Health and Safety Management
- Ensure housekeeping and general areas facilitates a tidy, neat environment
