Minimum Requirements
Applicants must have:
- Matric / Grade 12.
- A valid Code 10 (EC1/EC) driver’s licence.
- A valid Professional Driving Permit (PrDP).
- At least 1 year of experience in driving or messenger services.
Duties and Responsibilities
Successful candidates will be responsible for transporting staff, documents, packages and goods safely and on time.
Duties include:
- Collecting and delivering documents and packages.
- Maintaining delivery records and vehicle logbooks.
- Planning efficient delivery routes.
- Handling incoming and outgoing mail.
- Loading and unloading goods when required.
- Performing daily vehicle inspections.
- Reporting vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations and unexpected delays.
- Maintaining records and assisting with document filing and archiving.
- Ensuring the safe handling of company property and confidential documents.
