📝 Job Purpose

The successful candidate will gain practical workplace experience in manufacturing planning while supporting daily operations. The programme provides hands-on exposure to manufacturing, warehouse, and logistics processes, helping students complete the practical component of their qualification.

✅ Key Responsibilities

  • Gain practical experience in manufacturing planning.
  • Support manufacturing and warehouse operations.
  • Assist with planning and inventory-related activities.
  • Use Microsoft Office applications for reporting and administration.
  • Learn and apply ERP systems where applicable.
  • Apply theoretical knowledge to workplace tasks.
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Follow company policies and safety procedures.

Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12 with Mathematics or Mathematical Literacy (minimum 40%).
  • Passed two South African languages (minimum 40%).
  • Currently studying towards an Operations Management qualification.
  • Completed all theoretical modules.
  • Require In-Service/Experiential Training to complete the qualification.
  • Must have a letter from the institution requesting workplace experience.
  • Must not have completed an In-Service programme with another employer.

 Other Requirements

  • South African citizen.
  • Unemployed at the time of appointment.
  • Between 18 and 35 years of age.
  • Willing to complete workplace experiential training.

  • Certified copy of Matric certificate.
  • Certified copy of latest academic transcript.
  • Workplace Integrated Learning (WIL) letter from the institution.
